72.9% of Burundian population lives below the poverty line (1.9$\u00a0\/day) and many of them are women. Poverty leads to repeated family violence and conflicts, divorce, street children and cycle of low family income, and women’s indignation. \u00a0Faith in Action believe that, to achieve the integral development of the community in general and families in particular, is to strengthen women in order to promote the economical resilience of the households and the protection of children through their role as pillars of the family. Then Faith in Action coaches and supports these disadvantaged women in three key areas;\u00a0entrepreneurship and solidarity funding, family support and life skills.
