As part of its program to fight against the pandemic of COVID 19 through prevention, awareness and distribution of kits under the financial support of SEGAL FAMILY FOUNDATION, the staff of Faith in Action has made visits to different corners of the province of Rutana where there was awareness against COVID 19 to community leaders composed of representatives of religious denominations, local administrative and managers of health centers. There was also sensitization and distribution of kits composed of masks, tarpaulins, soaps, seals, disinfectants to the community. In addition, gowns were given to health center managers.
As part of the promotion of integral family-centered development by sanitizing a protective environment for the child, Faith in Action, under the financial support of the Segal Family Foundation, carried out community sensitization against COVID19 for the population of the Gihanga Commune, Bubanza Province. Kits for barrier measures against COVID19 such as soaps, masks, disinfectants and buckets have been distributed.

Dans le cadre de sa vision de voir notre société socialement et économiquement équitable, prospère et solidaire et sous l’appui financier de DAVID WEEKLY FAMILY FOUNDATION, depuis ce jeudi le 27/1/2022 jusqu’au 29/1/2022, Foi en Action a organisé un atelier de formation à l’endroit des leaders religieux sous le thème « Eglise et Développement intégral ».
En effet, comme l’esprit de développement doit passer par les leaders d’opinions, Foi en Action considère les chefs des églises comme porteurs de message. C’est dans ce cadre que des thématiques visant le développement intégral centré sur la famille ont été abordées à l’endroit de 25 couples de leaders religieux des localités de GIHANGA en province Bubanza.
Il s’agit des thèmes sur le développement des activités génératives de revenus, la mise en place des jardins potagers en famille dans le but d’améliorer l’alimentation des enfants, les Bonnes pratiques parental et l’investissement au capital humain, les crèches communautaires dans le but rompre le cercle vicieux des violences.
Soulignons qu’ils ont développé des plans d’affaire et les trois premiers ont eu des prix. Comme plan d’action, ils se sont convenus que des crèches communautaires vont être mise en place à MURENGEZA, RUKARAMU et à GIHANGA.
